Hi folks, remember me? I'm Mr. Lippman your Calc teacher. So I figure that this "snow day" stuff has finally gone on long enough, and we have to do some Calculus if we're going to keep on pace. To that end, I am uploading a reading and assignment that will allow us to streamline our unit on Differential Equations considerably. Please go through this handout and do the problems at the end. I don't care if you print it out or do everything on in your notebook.
As for the unit on Area / Volume / Arc length, I still intend to quiz you on that the day AFTER we return to school. If we are back on Wednesday, then we'll have that quiz on Thursday. That's a long block, so I anticipate I quizzing for half the period and then moving on for the second half.
Also, here's a video from Khan Academy which you may find helpful. I recommend reading the handout first, then checking out the video if you're confused.
